Throughout the history one can come across numerous examples of eminent personalities or even public figures who had a thing or two for special transport means. This almost fetish like passion can be seen about owning luxury carriages which gave way to expensive cars such as Rolls Royce, deluxe cruisers and such similar things which have kept changing over and again with time according to the taste, preference and the style statement that dominates the contemporary era. Considering the present milieu, it seems that owning a jet charter is the most in thing and the latest to join the lineage of the aforementioned.

However, one must realize the financing a private jet purchase is actually quite a difficult process. Lenders are available in plenty and everyone is interested in doing business with you, especially the Celebes, but the companies might not be necessarily interested in the type of jets you want to buy. Private jets have different rates which depend upon the model and the date of manufacture and definitely the condition the aircraft is in.

If you are looking to finance your private jet, make sure you hire a finance broker who will directly be in contact with you and will advise you. Make sure you have a long list of potential companies that you will be buying the jet from and the quotation that are on offer. You have to give time to research and look for loan facilities, if you have to. The quotations are really important as they will give you a good idea of what your final budget might be.

Generally a private jet will cost you anything around $1 to $3 million and it is best if you work with someone who is a financial broker. The brokerage companies that are there already have a list of the who’s-who and it is best if you can assign a company to do the dealings. However, it really does not matter from whom you decide to finance your Jet because the loan terms will be similar to most cases. The general rates vary from 6.5% and 7.25% for anything that’s purchased from $4-$6 million. If they fall into the lower category, i.e., less than a million then the rates are generally 8.25%.

The terms for loan can be anywhere from 5 years to 10 years depending on the terms you have agreed to, while the amortization of the loan could be anywhere from 8 years to 25 years, which is generally determined by the age of the private jet and the number of hours it has flown. So, if you are looking to finance a new Private Jet it is best advised to do an in depth research before you make any decisions.
